The Chandelier of Gruene is a Hill Country wedding venue in New Braunfels, Texas. It’s charming, modern, and all-around perfect! Not only is the venue beautiful, but the ladies who own and manage it are the sweetest! Myra and her girls are so very helpful, and you can tell they really love their couples.
When I thought of what I wanted for this shoot, I thought of colorful, romantic and whimsical.
Our creative team nailed every aspect of my vision and what is more romantic than a couple who had just eloped!?
John and Nicole met when they were in kindergarten at Cornerstone Christian Schools, they were in different classes but it was a small school so they knew each other growing up and played together a lot in 5th grade.
They went to school together all the way through high school and started dating their junior year. They were both on the basketball team so John asked her out at one of the away games right before Nicole’s game so she was a little distracted during the game (too sweet).
They dated for 1.5 years and John asked her to marry him in front of Paesanos! After they graduated high school they eloped and ran away together just weeks before this shoot! Both are now attending UT Austin to major in history and will be graduating next spring!
They didn’t get to have anything fancy at their elopement, so both John and Nicole’s family came to witness the photo shoot and see their love in action. It was such a sweet time to listen to them recite their vows in the gorgeous chapel at The Chandelier of Gruene as deer peeked in to see :).
It was the perfect backdrop for these beautiful photos.
